KUCHING: Sarawak reported 356 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (May 3), with 63% detected in five districts, says the state disaster management committee.
In a statement, it said the highest numbers of cases were found in Miri (80), Sibu (74), Kuching (29), Sebauh (21) and Selangau (20).
Other districts which recorded cases were Kapit (18), Pakan and Meradong (16 each), Subis (15), Bintulu (13), Sarikei (12), Song (11), Kanowit, Julau, Sri Aman and Betong (five each), Beluru, Samarahan and Tatau (two each) and Marudi, Saratok, Limbang, Bau and Mukah (one each).
This takes the state's cumulative tally of confirmed cases to 32,047.
The committee also said there were two fatalities, bringing the death toll to 184.
