Six people, including some police offers, were issued fixed penalty notices
A “SMALL number” of police officers have been issued with fixed penalty notices after attending an indoor gathering in Shetland.
Officers were called to a gathering at a home on Russell Crescent, Lerwick, on Friday. Six people, including a number of police officers, were fined and the group was broken up, the BBC reports.
At the time level 3 restrictions were still in place, meaning people were not able to meet in private homes.
Shetland moved to level 1 on Monday, and six people from three households are now allowed to gather in a home.
