The birthing experience in the U.S. has changed significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic, with hospitals putting many restrictions in place to reduce risk of exposure. For one, hospital stays often are shorter for both women with vaginal deliveries and those who had C-sections. But that policy change has not resulted in worse outcomes, a new CHOP study shows, and may be worth keeping.
