COVID-19 cases continue record surge, straining statewide testing capacity

For the second week in a row, Johnson County reported a record in new COVID-19 infections with 2,308 cases this past week. State public health data released Wednesday shows case counts statewide continue to surge as hospitalizations reach totals not seen since December 2020.
