Synopsis
The gender break-up of the data, shared by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights as part of its affidavit in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, shows that out of 9346 children, the figure put by district officials on “Bal Swaraj” (Covid Care link) portal, 4860 are boys and 4486 girls.
