Rajkot: The sessions court here has reminded the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to immediately repair the retaining wall of an overbridge on Rajkot-Gondal-Porbandar portion of national highway-27 that had collapsed in June 2020, killing two commuters.
The bypass constructed in 2008 is important for those travelling from Ahmedabad to Junagadh and Porbandar.
The court, while deciding the anticipatory bail application of one of the accused in this case, drew attention of the authority to carry out the repairs immediately to avoid any further unfortunate mishaps.
