Counting of Votes For Graduates MLC Polls Begin

The counting of votes for two graduates' MLC constituencies has started. The Election Commission of India (ECI) had made elaborate arrangements for the counting of votes in Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahbubnagar (HRM) and Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda (WKN) constituencies.
The polling was conducted on March 14. A candidate should get at least 50% of valid votes and one extra vote to be declared a winner. The ruling TRS is confident of winning the Nalgonda-Warangal-Khammam constituency.
The counting of votes is underway at LB Nagar indoor stadium, Hyderabad and in Telangana State Warehousing Corporation located at Arjalabavi, on the outskirts of Nalgonda. A total of 3,86,320 votes have been polled in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates' constituency whereas 3,57,354 votes polled in the Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad graduates’ constituency.
