Council gives city staff tentative approval on number of special projects

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A list of nearly $842,000 worth of special projects was given tentative approval by the Coldwater City Council on Monday night after a nearly 45 minute discussion.
A spread sheet of the proposed work included $500,000 for renovation work at the Four Corners Park. There would also be funding for downtown rest rooms, additional sidewalks, an adult soccer field, a canoe and kayak launch and theme street parties.
Mayor Tom Kramer says the projects can become a reality thanks to the city’s fund balance.
