A Sydney council has resolved to ask the corruption commission to look into $4 million in missing developer contributions.

Herald revealed in December that money that was meant to have been paid by developers was discovered missing from the coffers of Georges River Council after a secretive internal investigation.

Then in February the
Heraldrevealed the council had asked the corruption commission to look into the leaking of information to the media about the missing money – but stopped short of asking ICAC to find out what happened to the money.
