Corruption: Civil retiree jailed, fined

Kota Kinabalu: A civil retiree was on Monday sentenced to one year’s jail and fined RM225,000 or six months’ jail by the Sessions Court for corrupt practice while he was an officer with the Kinabatangan Social Welfare Services Department.
