Corps of Engineers, Prairie Island Indian Community join together for restoration program
The Sturgeon Lake Ecosystem Restoration program will cost roughly $1 million and help restore islands in the Mississippi River north of Red Wing.

PRAIRIE ISLAND — Working together to stabilize islands in the Mississippi River, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the Prairie Island Indian Community signed a project partnership agreement Thursday.
