Corporator wants offline process for civic body’s new scholarship plans

corporator from the Pune Municipal Corporation (
PMC) has demanded that along with the online process, an offline mode for filling up forms for scholarship examinations be also added for classes X and XII students.
Class X students are entitled to receive
Maulana Abdul Kalam Scholarship worth Rs 15,000 per student, while Class XII students are entitled to get an amount of Rs 25,000 each under the Annabhau Sathe Educational Scheme.
For open-category students to avail the benefit, the minimum score required is 80 per cent, while reserved-category pupils need to bag at least 70 per cent marks to be eligible for the scheme.
