A woman whose husband died after contracting COVID-19 in a long-term care centre last spring still questions exactly what caused his death and whether it could have been avoided, a coroner’s inquest heard on Thursday.
The public coroner’s inquest into the impact the pandemic had on Quebec’s long-term care centres and seniors’ residences concluded its hearings on Longueuil’s CHSLD René-Lévesque Thursday.
