Coronavirus NSW: The Sydneysiders who launched a business during COVID-19 pandemic

At a time when many businesses were sent reeling by the coronavirus pandemic, floral designer Debbi Weiss made the unusual move of launching her first retail shop, selling flowers and showcasing the works of local artists.
Ms Weiss threw open the doors to Hello Bronte in the beachside suburb in June, just as NSW began to emerge from the COVID-19 shutdowns.

"A lot of people are working from home in the area and I've had people come in wanting to buy fresh flowers to make their home look good and smell nice," she said. "They appreciate they can go somewhere locally."
