Mass queues have swamped testing sites in the regional Victorian city of Mildura after a man became its first COVID-19 case more than a year.
The Mildura man's infection was reported yesterday but was included in today's coronavirus figures, with his household contact also testing positive.
The man in his 30s attended an MCG match between Carlton and Geelong on July 10, watching the game in the MCC section.
He then returned home to Mildura where he developed symptoms and tested positive to COVID-19 on Sunday.
