Forty-nine of the borough’s 52 care homes have received coronavirus vaccines so far.
Three care homes currently have cases of Covid so cannot be vaccinated yet.
The local NHS body overseeing the community vaccination programme has said the remaining three care homes will be vaccinated as soon as possible.
It comes as around 37,500 doses have now been administered across Wigan.
Of those, 27,500 vaccine doses have been administered to people in priority groups and 10,000 health and social care staff have also been vaccinated.
This includes those vaccinated at centres in Leigh, Golborne, Hindley and Wigan and by Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
