Leading eco-tech firm Cornish Lithium has chosen its preferred partner to extract the precious metal from hot rock waters at its pilot plant.
The firm, which has its headquarters at the Tremough Innovation Centre in Penryn, selected GeoLith to extract lithium from brines at the United Downs plant, which it runs in a joint venture with Geothermal Engineering Limited.
GeoLith’s direct lithium extraction technology was selected with a view to start lithium extraction on site by March 2022.
