Corn growers, co-op managers weigh Fufeng effect on local farmer-owned cooperatives

At the City Council work session on Monday, Jan. 31, community members voiced concerns about how the proposed corn milling plant will be in competition with local co-ops, and how tax breaks and infrastructure improvements to accommodate the foreign company provide it an unfair advantage over local businesses.
