Cork councillors appeal for VAT reduction in the hospitality and tourism sector to assist businesses who can't 'absorb' any more

“Businesses can’t absorb any more,” warned Fine Gael councillor Marie O’Sullivan who brought forward a motion at last Monday’s full council meeting seeking a reduction in the VAT rate for businesses in the hospitality and tourism sector.
