BETHEL — A local woman has been charged with reckless endangerment after her 3-year-old daughter was found wandering outside alone.
Graciela Rojas-Amon, 44, was arrested after police were called to Grassy Plain Street last week for a report of an unattended young child walking down a sidewalk with no shoes on.
After making contact with the toddler and her mother, police said it was determined that Rojas-Amon had “deliberately left her child unattended for a short period of time which resulted in the child leaving the residence.”
