Convicted slavers face their last days of freedom

Husband and wife found guilty of holding woman as a slave for 8 years 
Kumuthini and Kandasamy Kannan appeared at court on Tuesday  
The slave had been branded a liar by her captor's defence barrister 
Jury heard evidence from the Tamil woman who claimed she was enslaved 
She vanished for eight years until found when she collapsed in the house
Kumunthini threw hot tea in her slave's eyes and poured gravy on her head
