Background
Mercy Corps is a leading global organization powered by the belief that a better world is possible. In disaster, in hardship, in more than 40 countries around the world, we partner to put bold solutions into action — helping people triumph over adversity and build stronger communities from within.
Mercy Corps’ Middle East team continues to respond to humanitarian and development needs across Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen by forging meaningful and trusted partnerships and designing impactful programming. In line with Mercy Corps’ Global Strategy Review, the Middle East Regional Team is in the process of refining its regional strategy to best address the shifting socio-economic, political, and governance environment and address both Mercy Corps and donor priorities effectively. In order to ensure that this revision process is evidence-based, the team aims to engage in a robust donor landscape analysis that will inform the discussions at the regional Senior Leadership Team meeting in July 2021.
