Constitution: Even bad Constitution turns out to be good if those running it are good, says CJI, quotes Ambedkar

Chief Justice of India, D Y Chandrachud, praised B R Ambedkar's idea of constitutionalism for dismantling the caste hierarchy in India during his keynote address at a conference on Ambedkar's legacy. Chandrachud highlighted Ambedkar's belief that even a bad Constitution can be effective if those responsible for implementing it are good. He also received the 'Award for Global Leadership' from the Center on the Legal Profession at Harvard Law School.
