Constantine Public Schools Board of Education on Monday discussed putting a cap on school of choice. It was noted that some students "yo-yo" between schools.
Superintendent Jim Wisely said communication is the key and a decision must be made regarding enrollment.
“Do we want to continue to expand like we are now by adding students, or do we want to put a cap on it?" Wisely said.
Board president Terry Burgess said the school needs controlled growth, not “chaotic” growth.
The school board decided to study the issue further at future meetings.
In a separate matter, Wiseley said there has been a problem registering kindergarten-age students in a timely manner.
