Gov. Ned Lamont and state environmental commissioner Katie Dykes unveiled Connecticut's first electric school bus in Middletown as they touted a controversial bill calling for battling air pollution and climate change. Opponents say the bill will sharply increase gasoline prices.
Standing in front of Connecticut’s first electric school bus, Gov. Ned Lamont called Wednesday for battling against air pollution by joining a regional, multi-state effort to combat climate change by cutting carbon emissions.
