Congress MP asks PM Modi to probe nationality of Union minister Nisith Pramanik
Ripun Bora claimed media reports showed that Pramanik is a Bangladeshi national, and therefore, an inquiry should be conducted about his birthplace & nationality.

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President Ripun Bora on Saturday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct an inquiry into allegations that newly appointed Union Minister Nisith Pramanik is a Bangladeshi national.
However, sources close to Pramanik strongly refuted the allegations, saying the minister was born, brought up and educated in India.
