THERE have been calls for caution at a beauty spot between Belfast and Lisburn due to the number of visitors raising concerns over social distancing.
An increasing number of people have been visiting Lagan Towpath to walk along the picturesque stretch of river.
However, The Irish News has been contacted by visitors who said they were forced to turn back from a walk yesterday.
North Lisburn SDLP councillor Johnny McCarthy urged people to reconsider visiting the towpath area due to the high number of visitors, and said people must "be on the same page" when it comes to combatting coronavirus.
