Concerns raised about water quality

NEW FRANKLIN — Concerns related to the recent train derailment and chemical burn in East Palestine earlier this month were raised at the Feb. 15 New Franklin City Council meeting. Resident Robin Aikey asked if the city plans to take any proactive efforts, such as local soil and water testing, in light of the accident.
