VAN WERT – On Wednesday, dozens of Van Wert area residents took the pledge to Stand Against Racism with the YWCA of Van Wert County. During the YWCA's first event in over 400 days, residents gathered at the Wassenberg Art Center masked and socially distanced to hear original poetry by local students, music by Kaitlyn Schmit and Frank Bowen, and to hear a keynote address by Judge Jill Worthington.
