LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) – La Crescent High School is back to virtual learning after 17 students tested positive for COVID-19.
The high school will stay virtual for 14 days and is working with the county and state to prevent more students from getting sick.  Houston County has had one of the lowest COVID-19 case rates in the state, but cases are rising, according to the public health director.
John Pugleasa says no school or activity is to blame. Every community, even when taking precautions, is at risk.
