Community Cooperative needs volunteers | News, Sports, Jobs

As the need continues to rise in the community for food services, Community Cooperative is seeking volunteers to help with its Meals on Wheels and mobile pantries in Lehigh Acres.
Chief Development & Operating Officer Stefanie Ink Edwards said both food and monetary donations, as well as volunteerism, is how they survive and are able to provide the services they do for the community. Without those three ingredients they could not support Southwest Florida the way they do.
Community Cooperative is extremely active in the Lehigh community and are in need of more volunteers.
“Sometimes it is really hard to get a good base of volunteers,” she said.
