A cask of Limerick Whiskey was recently carried on board Ilen, one of the last of Ireland’s traditional wooden sailing ships, from Limerick to Cappagh as part of a re-creation of a voyage which happened 100 years ago to the JJ Corry shop at Henry Street, Kilrush. The event was organised by Louise McGuane and her team at JJ Corry's in Cooraclare. Our picture shows the vessel approaching Cappa Pier on the final leg of the Shannon voyage.
