Like its name suggests,
Wok of Flame knows how to deal with fire. It was back open last Sunday after a small kitchen blaze the night before. Davis firefighters responded at about 11 p.m. on Jan. 16, and had the kitchen and roof flames out within 15 minutes.
The Chinese food restaurant is at 417 Mace Blvd. in the El Macero shopping center.

Café Bernardo and its
Tiki Bar were still closed on Friday, and had been since at least Sunday. A note on the door at 234 D St. said it’s temporary.
