An FIR was booked against comedian Sugandha Mishra on Thursday for allegedly flouting coronavirus norms during her wedding with Sanket Bhosale. The couple tied the knot on April 26 at a resort in Phagwara, Punjab.
The case was registered after a video from the wedding went viral. The clip showed a large gathering of people at the wedding, which is a violation of Covid-19 norms. An FIR against the owner of Club Cabana Resort has also been registered, Deputy Superintendent of Police Paramjit Singh said.
