That was a fun game last night. I mean, the first 57 minutes was frustrating, but the final six minutes were a lot of fun. Chicago snapped a six-game losing streak with a thrilling come from behind win over the Carolina Hurricanes in overtime last night. And while it didn’t mean much for Chicago in the grand scheme of this season, it means a lot to see the team continue to battle and fight against top teams and see “replacement” players stepping up and making good impressions in the final games of the year.
• With the win, Chicago finishes their season with a 3-4-1 record against the Hurricanes this season and have just one more season series to put the final touches on when they face the Dallas Stars on Sunday and Monday.
