Hell be the first president whose memoirs will be like a popup book, ahhh why sit grabbing me . ahhh laughter that debate hillary is talking about is really uncomfortable. We get to hear it from hillary herself because there is also an audio book. Well, what would you do . You wind up crying and pooping in the corner i dont know how it works i dont know laughter its confusing, and clearly the media is having a hard time keeping up. I have whiplash. Its, like, which president is going to show up today . The unleashed president we saw tuesday . Or the teleprompter president we saw tonight . It really has been like a tale of two trumps. President seems to be confused. We just dont know which President Trump will show up at any particular moment. Why does he keep going back and forth, though . Personally, im waiting for the first appearance of reggae trump. Thats what im waiting for. That will be exciting. Although people would like to believe would like to believe donald trump switches every day because hes not in control. I think its the opposite. This is not a bug of donald trump. Its a feature. All politicians adjust their performance for different crowds. Obama speaks differently in a black or a white crowd. Bush spoke differently to farmers and bankers. Ted cruz speaks differently to people than the pile of human heads in his basement he says are his friends. laughter it always happens. But trump is different. When he talks to different audiences even within a few days, he doesnt tweak his style, he changes his message. We cannot remain a force for peace in the world. We are not at peace with each other. The only people giving a platform to these hate groups is the media itself and the fake news. The Washington Post is terrible. The democrats have no ideas. Barack obama never said it took place because of radical islamic terrorism. He never said that. We are people. We are people who love. We are people with heart. We are people who adore. There is no other way to describe the story and the film as both heartbreaking and triumphant at the same time. Namedy, lets start with you. This is a story of a man whos sitting next to you right now who was wrongfully imprisoned 21 years for a crime he didnt commit. You play his best friend in the movie, in real life his best friend who helped get him out. Start with the process and the idea. How did you get into this . And more importantly, what connected with you in the story . Yeah, it was we were lucky enough to have a visionary director in matt ruskin and he put together a fiveminute documentary of colin and carl and passed it around, made its way to me, i asked for a script, auditioned and got the part. Trevor right. But i had a different connection to colin. Between the aches of 13 and 16, i was arrested twice, both times for things i didnt do. So i spent the day in a holding cell, which is nothing compared to what colin went through but it stays with you when it happens. So i basically thought, you know, if i can be a part of this story, i can lend my voice to not only his issue but what i went through as well. Trevor now, colin, on your side, can you take us through even a microcosm of what you were feeling as you were experiencing this, being arrested at 18, i believe, and then having to spend most of your adult life in prison for something you didnt do . Well, greetings, everybody. Greetings audience greetings im glad to be here. This is incredible to me, as the tid napping and the crime i didnt commit, both sides of the world. Im glad im here now. It was a struggle. It was painful. Almost destroyed me. But with friends and family, i was able to survive and hopefully, with this movie, i could touch someone in their lives. No one in america should have to go through what i went through, despite my skin color, despite my religious beliefs. In that context, i believe that we all have the power within us to change a lot of things in our lives that we do not like. Go see the movie and hopefully we can make some change and save some peoples lives. Trevor wow. applause trevor now that youre out, your story is being told in the movie. Right. Trevor now that youre out, you have a different life to live. What is the one thing you wish you could impart on other people . What is the one thing you wish other people could get from the film that either may be in this situation or may know someone whos in this situation . All i can say is love somebody. We need to love each other. Thats the only way change going to happen. Thats the only way well see some progress. What kyle king did for me, to me is still unbelievable. So i thank god every day for mr. Carl king, and a lot of you may think that you may not have that friend, but believe me, you do. We just have to recognize that person, give them the respect and honor that is due to them, right, and hopefully, when your tail is in a jam, somebody will come to your defense. Right, because we cannot keep asking and not give. Its not going to work out. So, mr. Carl king, thats my number one hero. Thats the first human being i can say im impressed with. You know, hopefully the numbers are different but it just continues to go on, and in the film, we kind of connect the dots through administrations and the Different Things that were going on in government, and its really something that needs to change.
