The City of Columbia has three options to accommodate the city's homeless population during extremely cold temperatures.
Room at the Inn is open year-round, regardless of the temperature. Salvation Army Harbor House has warming center capacity that opens when it's below 35 degrees, and the Turning Point overnight center is contracted with the city to open when it's below 25 degrees.
