There are three people facing charges after a woman says she was awoken by the sounds an intruder stealing her purse and other items from her room at Home 2 Suites, at 4:30 on Tuesday morning.
The burglary was traced to suspects in a neighboring motel room and the items were recovered. Two of the three suspects have been arrested multiple times. Colonie Police say Khalil Hankins has been arrested by them 8 times in 2021, and arrested at least 8 times this year by other local agencies on various charges. Colonie Police say they've arrested Ava Maddalla 7 times this year, and Maddalla has been arrested by at least 4 other agencies this year.
