OLIVET, MI (WTVB) â The Coldwater girls softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader at Olivet on Friday as they were beaten by scores of 11-3 and 7-6.
Olivet used the long ball to their advantage in the first game as they belted six home runs. Alyssa Bach and Brooklyn Kerry had two hits for Coldwater while Jayla Foster doubled in the first game.
Coldwater outhit Olivet in the second game 10-7 but the Eagles completed the doubleheader sweep with a walk off homer in the last of the seventh.
Foster had a double and triple in the second game. Mia Rzepka had a double and two RBIâs. Alexis Bills also drove in two runs. Morgan Dancer and Kerry both had two hits.
