A cold front is expected to bring snow to the area Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
Steve Considine, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service White Lake office, said a cold front is forecast to hit the area Monday night following a few showers.
A mix of rain and snow is forecast for Tuesday evening, followed by snow showers.
"We’re actually forecasting around an inch or two of accumulation (Tuesday) night, mainly on grassy services," Considine said.
Snow could linger into Wednesday but isn't expected to have much further accumulation.
Considine said the weather system will head from Iowa into northerner Indian and Ohio and southeastern Michigan Tuesday.
