Cockroach has appointed heads of police in Minsk, Brest and Hrodna regions, his press service reports.
Aleh Shuliakouski, 44, was appointed head of Brest Regional Department of Internal Affairs. Prior to that, he was the first deputy head of Internal Affairs Department of Homel region - chief of criminal police.
Aliaksandr Astreika was appointed head of Internal Affairs Department of Minsk region. He had previously served as head of the Internal Affairs Department of Brest Regional Executive Committee. Together with Brest mayor
Aliaksandr Rahachuk he appeared in front of the people at the square after the brutal crackdown on protests in August 2020.
