COC Information Technology Department Wins Two Tech Awards
Two awards are being given to College of the Canyons (COC)’s Information Technology (IT) department at the 2021 Virtual Technology Summit thanks to the college’s “effective transition” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
COC is slated to receive two awards from the 2021 California Community College Chief Information Systems Officers Association (CISOA) on Thursday, Feb. 11, as a response to the department’s help during the COVID-19 transition in Santa Clarita.
Transitioning COC’s operations and instructional programs to a remote format following widespread COVID-19 shutdowns of in-person education was made possible thanks partially to the IT department.
