COASTGUARD officers have been called to rescue a 'man overboard'.
Officers from Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team were called to a report of a man overboard training dummy in the water at Chesil Cove at 7.58pm on Tuesday.
Crews located the dummy, which was roughly 20 metres from the shore, and used a throw line to bring it onto the beach.
A spokesman for Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team said: "The team was tasked by Solent Coastguard to a report of a man overboard training dummy that was floating in the water approximately 20metres from the shore at Chesil Cove.
"On arrival at Chesil Cove the team located the dummy and, once within reach, recovered the dummy onto the beach with the use of a throw line before returning to station."
