A former Coast nipper, now in his sixth season as a Bondi Rescue lifeguard, says he feels like the "luckiest man in the world" to be a part of the team.
Jackson Doolan grew up doing Nippers at Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba and was a Surf Life Saving Australian champion before he moved to Sydney in 2016 to become a lifeguard on Bondi Rescue.
The 28-year-old said it was "a dream come true" to be a part of the Bondi team.
"I remember when the first season premiered, I would have been 12 years old and I remember watching that with my family ⦠it was something that I looked at and always thought was amazing," he said.
