COAS, UK CDS discuss Afghan peace process
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday discussed the Afghan peace process, security and defence cooperation and the evolving global geo-strategic environment of the region with United Kingdom's Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Carter called on General Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) today to discuss matters of mutual interset.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries, the ISPR added.
