Local churches won't be holding indoor holiday services this year amid stay-at-home orders to curb the spread of COVID-19. But many are offering virtual services, and some are hosting outdoor services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Rev. Monsignor Howard Lincoln of Sacred Heart Catholic Church said the local weather is an advantage.
"The temperature we'll experience this Christmas is similar to the temperature the holy family experienced in the stable where the son of God was born," Lincoln said.
