Because this order for people from gaza to evacuate south is a major statement, a major ask. It is a major Astatement Anda major ask and especially for the palestinians who are in gaza and they have nowhere the go at this point, and so the u. N. Sheltersing and i posed the question to the u. N. Who were already sheltering some 300,000, and 330,000 people. That is tough, but what is going on here, because i think that the protests that we are seeing are really significant at that point. Eight palestinians shot dead by Israeli Forces by the occupied west bank and jerusalem in support of gaza according to the health minister, and they shot up palestinian in ramallah, bethlehem, and in the town of khartoum in the past weeks in the occupied west bank in Eastern Jerusalem since the clashes began with the Israeli Forces, and it has been a tense week as the settlers are roaming the west Bank Shooting at passing vehicles. On thursday, a palestinian man and his son were shot dead as there were four palestinians were killed. And now, at a mosque in jerusalem, it was very quiet i must say and i was out and ob serving this, and Israeli Forces were very selective about who they let into the compound today. I was in Eastern Jerusalem today speaking to those who did get in and i was told by the people returning from the Midday Prayers that only women over 50 and men over 60 were allowed in. And that is the third holiest site on the shrine known by arabs by al sharef and by the jews as the mount temple that is the most holy site which lies in the heart of the conflict. If we step out a moment, we can see, john, mass protests across this region in support of gaza and what is going on there and, you know, likely to happen Going Forward and we have seen the protests in places like bahrain and iraq and sanaa and other crimes being committed against palestinians. And they would be sponsored by the regime and come typically right after friday prayers and to show that there is public backing for the Regime Support for groups like hamas and hezbollah. And so the fact that we are seeing some very violent clashes in the west bank, and relatively quiet, but very, very agitated day in east jerusalem, and then the protests around the region only speaks to where this region is at in putting the call squarely back on the map. I have spoken to people today, and Palestinians Living in Eastern Jerusalem who are not supportive of the hamas or the militant groups, but these are the palestinians trying to go about their daily lives and caught up in this, but they are clearly going to have huge sympathy for the residents of gaza who have, as you started this discussion who have now been told by the idf to evacuate. They have nowhere to go, and that Border Crossing in rafa would be the only way out, and even though there is enormous amounts of discussion, and i am speaking to my sources around the region where those palestinians would go from gaza if indeed they opened the crossing, it is not clear at this point. So you have a very, very difficult situation at present, and in the hours to come, it will be revealed what happens next. John . All right. Becky anderson, who is in jerusalem for us, and to give you a sense of the geography of what you seeing, jerusalem is right there, and ramallah where we are seeing the protests of the west bank is not far from where becky is, and of course, gaza where all of the fighting could very soon be taking place in the south. Kate . John, pull up your map of gaza so we can show where Erin Burnetts location is, because she is down near the gaza Egypt Border There where erin burnett is. We want to go back to erin right now, because there is even more developments there since we last saw you, erin. What is going on . Yes, so, we have been hearing the Israeli Attack helicopters above and quite a bit of o outgoing artillery, and the Israeli Military says they have dropped the same amount as gaza as in the 2014 conflict with gaza and that is the scale we are see on the ground, and listen to becky talk about The Rafah Border here, and we are a few miles from the gaza border and not far from egyptian border and not far from that border is the crossing, and this is what it is like. You are in a very desertlike environment as we experienced when the tanks go by. That is the terrain here, and that border is closed. Thinking about gaza and how closed it is and you have 2 Million People there and that border is completely closed not far from where we are, but if you open it, there is the real question of where they go, because you are coming into the terrain similar to what is behind me, and where we are standing right now, and so that ism is of the Big Questions that they have to stand, but right here, we did some Israeli Attack helicopters and again, that existing ongoing fire there into gaza. Erin, thank you so much for being there, and we will continue to stay close to you, and i think that you heard more happening behind erin as we speak. We will get right back to you. John . Again, she was talking about the border between israel and egypt and gaza and i jipt and the Rafah Crossing here which is closed between gaza and egypt and erin is right here not far from both borders. And now i want to go to israeli town from Nic Robertson is from the gaza border and overlooking gaza, and nic, what are you seeing in the last several hours . Yeah, more and more Artillery Impacts going into gaza, and big plumes of smoke, and apparently, it is looking like fires in gauz gaza, and right in the area where israel has told them to move south, and it is about 1. 1 Million People to move, and that would be impossible, but what is emerging here because israel is asking the civilians to move so they are not caught up in the Collateral Damage if you will if they are commanding the bunkers and the Ammunition Stores and the launch sites and all of that, and israel is saying to the civilians move south and get out of the way. Hamas is telling them to stay put, dont leave. This is in a way is being set up for a blame game. That is oversimplification for what may play out in the coming days of the Ground Incursion that could lead to high civilian casualties and 1,500 palestinians have died already on the strikes in gaza, and hamas can say well, we blame ly use it to cut back the military goals of trying to take out hamas entirely, and israel says, look, we asked for the civilians to move, and hamas told them not to move. It is hard to move that many people in gaza, and impossible without hamas support without buses or that sort of thing, because people there dont have that sort of transportation, and they dont know where to go, because the u. N. Says already 400,000 people in gaza are displaced already. So, it is if you will, a tragic scenario here, but it is not a new one where israel will try to target the entirely en masse because they are trying to make them Collateral Damage, and israel is telling them to move, and hamas is saying no, and the International Community looks on, and they will mount pressure on israel as the death toll climbs, and we are stepping towards that phase of it, but this Ground Offensive is telling us that it is feeling like it is getting closer and we dont know when, but it feels like it is getting closer. And the u. N. Is saying within 24 hours, but the idf says now. Leave now. And we have spoken to the spokesperson from the idf saying to leave civilian lives so that the people in gaza say they cannot move as quickly as they need to right now, and Nic Robertson, keep us posted and we will talk to you soon. Kate . Joining us now for this is George Birnbaum who is the current adviser to jerusalem, and thank you for taking the time, and after we jump off of what nic and john were talking about, and what are you preparing yourselves to look at for the coming days now that we have a call for the evacuation of the folks there in gaza and the leaflets being droppedped i gaza, what are you prepared to see . We are being prepared to see what hamas asked for total war. While the people in the jewish state have been seeking peace since 1948 and had peace with egypt and jordan and other neighbors, the hamas and the palestinians want one thing, blood, jewish blood. We asked for peace and they want war and they are going to get it. That is what we will see. And the u. N. Has decried the Evacuation Order saying it is is impossible for the evacuation without devastating humanitarian consequence, and new reporting into cnn from the Senior State Department official tony blinken in the need to establish safe zones inside gaza and some safe area for the people inside of gaza can go to be safe from israeli operation, and how do you do that . Well, it is very difficult. Israel has always from day one of the establishment state of israel waged any war in the most humanitarian way possible if you can say that, and always trying to mitigate the Collateral Damage, but remember, we are not dealing with the army, and we are dealing with thugs and barbarians and dressed as civilians and hiding behind civilian, and so as much as israel will do everything that they can to mitigate the Collateral Damage, it will not stop israel, and it will not stop our resolve and stop the necessity of completely Em Limb Nating and hamas from the face of the earth. And the State Department in this briefing looks like, my colleague Danny Hansler was saying that they are using, hamas is using Human Shields from the beginning, and impossible to influence what hamas is going to be doing inside of gaza, and with that in mind, and are you would you say that it is impossible to insure the safety of civilians once the Security Operation gets under way . No, i mean, the iz lay army fights within the rul the isri army fights within the laws of war, and we dont lose sight of the objective which is the elimination of hamas, and by the way, i would add that it does not stop in gaza. We know and the world knows that the leadership of hamas is not in gaza, but they are in qatar, but they are in hotels. So round them up, and put them on the plane, and lets trade them for the hostages, and this is going to end things very quickly. One of blinkens stops is in qatar to start those conversation, and they have put themselves in there as an intermediary to speak to hamas to try to get the hostages released, but as a note, we should let everyone know how strong the ties are between qatar and hamas. Exactly right. And it is laughable that they want to act as the honest intermediary as they are the responsible. They want to sit in the hotels in doha and get the money and execute the Slaugt Serhter Of J and we cant give them a pass, and certainly, while they want to give the help of in terms of freezing the money, and release of terrorists if they were to round up, and arrest the leadership of terrorists in doha right now. And so in terms of protecting innocent civilian life in gaza, at the same time, people in israel are asking how this happen . What failed . I want to play for you what one retired general with the idf told cnn on this. Listen to this. It is a total collapse. I am not going to say any excuses. It is a total collapse. It is a systemic collapse. It is the intelligence, and it is the whole defense system. The defense has a number of elements, the technology, the deployment of the army, and the backup, and so many things and it all collapsed. What kind of investigation is needed to answer these questions to make sure that israel is protecting its people . Everyone knows that after this is over, there will be a total investigation, but now is not the time to point fingers or have plame, but now is the time to be unite and eliminate the barbaric threat, and when that is over, we will look at what happened an ensure this never happens again. George birnbaum, thank you for your time. John. Yes, and as kate and george were talking about, Antony Blinken is there meeting with the leaders in qatar to discuss how to get the hostages held in gaza out, and he has other key meetings in saudi arabia and bahrain, and we will hear from the Secretary Of State later. And also, we are following the developments in the United States as well, and there is concern over security in certain locations. Stay with us. Amid the terror and tragedy, so many stories of heroism. There were two People Killed by the Hamas Terrorists and they died, but in their death they also saved their 16yearold son. The family tells us that how it played out is that the father tried to save the family, and the mother shielded the son with her body, and what they wish for him and his siblings. They wanted us to be happy, to be whimsical, and they wanted us to be joyful. They wanted us to be in peace. They didnt want us to be in a situation like this. And they wanted us to live more than anything. They will not die. They will live on in memories and in stories. He was shot in the stomach and injured and after his parents were killed, he got in touch with his family, and including his aunt, and for nine agonizing hours we were told that they were on the phone with him, and he was rescued. And you can see that he is recovering from his physical wounds. And we are joined by his aunt, and you have a remarkable family, and you can see with the sisters around rotem, and it is beautiful, and you were on the phone with him for hours while he waited to be rescue and for a period of time laying under his mother, your sister. What is that conversation like for you . And what were those hours like . I will put it to you and take a step back, because i am finding a little bit of difficult time to transition into this conversation, and it is difficult, but i heard before the break, the questions of the responsibility in the gaza strip, and i dont hear anybody asking for who is responsible for ensuring the jewish safety for those who want to live. I want that asked as my brotherinlaw and sister were peace activists and Human Rights Activists and musicians and they were founding members of the Bilingual School for jews and arabs. I just want to be able to say that before we talked about what happened that morning. You asked about what happened bar, we can take a moment. I hear you. I understand. Thank you. I mean, i understand your, and i hear you on all of it. Outrage. The compounding tragedy of having to hear even us retelling what has happened to your sister even before we come to speak with you, and it is unspeakable and it cant continue and it cant go on. I am looking at the picture of you and your sister together, and it is gutting. And im sorry. Ye yeah. Thank you for that. I wish i could see you. I can only see a screen. And we received a message from whatsapp because we were asked if everything is okay, because there were missiles and alerts and also, it felt different to her. It sounded different to her. And she described while we were online with her what is happening. We hear the shattered and i am going to read some of this for you a bit of it. We got a text from someone there that souns like they shattered the glass at the back door. Lots of shooting, and she talks about their house being surrounded. Lots of gun fire, and knock on the door which had to be terror. And all of the attention on you, and she said, we did before we entered the safe room. And somebody kicked down the back door. That was at 7 47 that we got the final message from her. There was no response to our messages until a few minutes later, rotem wrote to us. Mom and dad are dead. Im sorry. And then became nine hours of Supporting Rotem to making sure that we did Everything Possible to get him through this. So that is the background. You are actually a therapist specializing in trauma. I am a psychotherapist. So i thought that you would be the perfect person to have on the phone, but i am sure that this is a scenario that you could have never prepared for in all of your training. How did that, how did you find that kick in, i guess . They were the most moments of my life until then, and i have had my fair share of trauma and certainly working as a therapist under fire. I used to work in the gaza strip, and if there was a district hit i would come and deal with the families that had been hit, but this is different. What was not said is that when rotem said that his mom and dad was dead, and was this real or his sense of humor, and he wrote that he is bleeding, and very quickly we understood that this is true. I remember saying to myself, all right. You cannot, and i knew what was happening in my body, and i knew what was happening with my emotions, and i soon learned that he was lying underneath her, and this he could not breathe. That there was smoke. I didnt know if he could not breathe because my sister body had become heavy body of a dead person, my beautiful, beautiful vital sister or if he was wounded badly in a way that waskeeping him from breathing or, you know, if we needed to ascertain what was the physical condition was and the mental condition was or how to help him. The whole family really banded together. From the north to the south of israel, and everybody on the whatsapp, and my brother who is on the job in london, we have a fantastic family, as you said. Among us. Im not going to mention everybody. We have a paramedic, and two other social workers trained in trauma, and two other daughters together with me, and a former idf officer who is now professor of neurobiology and many, many other more capable people, and we used the time to try to help rotem through it. But it was terrifying. It was terribly, terribly painful, and we had to make sure that his helplessness and his hopelessness were refrained into something that he was actually doing that was helpful so that we could say that your mission now is to protect yourself and you are doing a great job. And he was. And your mission was to keep us on the phone, keep communicating with us, and make sure that we have the location to get help to you, and that you are in touch with other people when he said that i cant wait anymore, and it was to say, waiting, and i cant do anything, i cant wait anymore. He was losing hope at that point and i was afraid he would stand up. And it had been many, many hours. He could not stay longer in that situation, and we had to say, waiting is doing something, and this is doing something and break down the helplessness, and break it down what made him feel that he could not do more, and so we got a doctor on the phone with us. When he sensed the voice messages, and she could listen to voice, and he sent a picture and he checked himself for wounds, and so we could tell him, you know, you have to hide. How to stop the bleeding and how to cover his cough, because the terrorists had come back three times to make sure they finished what they had started. And you mentioned getting him through it moment to moment. And those moments are not over for you, for rotem, or the family and coming together is for the state of israel for everyone who is going to need to come together in these moments. Bar, thank you for coming on to speak with me. May i Say Something else, please. Yes. It is not just for us and for our country, but it is for the entire free world, and it is crucial that people not get politically correct about this. There is nothing political and nothing correct about massacring or Making A Pogrom Of Massacre Ing families and mothers and children and they laughed. They took pleasure. They threw grenades and set fires to the cars and everything in sight while they had music on. There is nothing political about this. Thank you. Bar, thank you. We need help getting the hostages out of this, and this is not political and it is hate and evil. Thank you. Thank you so much. John. All right. So much pain. All right. You are looking at pictures now, and what you are looking at is the breaking situation and that is the smoke of Artillery Fire from northern israel, and you can hear the blasts there into Southern Lebanon. All right. Those are the pictures now. And let me show you on the map that this is the border between israel and lebanon, and Southern Lebanon and our ben wedeman is standing by there, and what you are seeing and hearing. Reporter john, in the last few minutes, we have heard explosions in the distance, and what you are seeing is on the mou mountain, one half of it is israel, and the other half is lebanon. Now this is a closed Military Area for the last few hours, but in the last few minutes, we have heard several large explosions in the distance and this is in addition to what is going on here in the mediterranean along the border where we understand according to the official Lebanese News Agency several rockets fired in the direction of israel, and they were intercepted by the iron dome system. The israelis later apparently targeted according to the Lebanese News Agency an army observation point, and there are ongoing exchanges in that area as well. Now, this is sort of a change from the pace during the rest of the day, earlier in the day where it was relatively quiet, and the assumption is that the worst had passed here. And the explosion and i dont know if you have heard that blast, there was another one, and it does appear that another one has in the distance there, but it is picking up. There are lebanese soldiers here observing what is going on, and i will step out of the way, and looking at the top of the hill, there is a plume of smoke, and i am not certain, but on that side of the hill is lebanon, but i cant say with absolute cert certainty, but yes, this is just beginning a few moments ago. The tensions here are extremely high. Hezbollah has by and large been restrained since the outbreak of fighting in gaza, and i can hear another impact and, yeah, there is smoke on top of the hill, and it is ap peering that there are multiple impacts up there. What i think that i am hearing is outgoing fire and then moments later, you will hear the impact. There it is. John . Yeah, we can hear the thuds, ben. If you can explain and you know this region so well, and we are so focused on gaza to south, if you are looking at the map of israel, and you are of course on the border of israel and lebanon, and the concern there is that we saw a flash there on the hill, i did a moment ago and the concern maybe i should step out of the way. The concern for israel in terms of what happens in lebanon is not so much the lebanese government, but it is hezbollah, and why are they so concerned about what hezbollah may do and what kind of lines has hezbollah drawn, and saying that they will get involved in this. Well, obviously, john, the israelis are concerned by the fact that hezbollah, and i wanted to pop into the car and get my flak jacket on while i talk to you, but hezbollah is a formidable military organization, and excuse me, with the help of iran. And we saw even in 2006, hezbollah was able to fight the israelis to a standstill. Since then their capabilities have only improved, and the weaponry has only improved, and they have a lot of experience in house to house and streettostreet warfare from syria. Therefore, if they become involved, it is a whole different situation than what you have in gaza, and yes, i see another impact up there. And hezbollah has said that if israel attacks lebanon, it will become fully involved. Hassan nasrula has said they will only be involved in a war to their choosing. So this is maybe a Passing Incident and not necessarily a beginning of something, but it certainly does represent something of a deterioration, john. And we can see the smoke rising up above the hill, and you are back in the frame, and we saw a small flash, but that smoke behind you is lebanon, and those are the impact zone there, and that inside of lebanon you believe. I do believe so, yes. I am sort of havent had a chance to check the coordinates exactly, but i do believe that is, yes. And ben wedeman, keep us posted, because this is crucial to see if it is escalating more. Ben wedeman up here on the board between israel and lebanon, and we are going to go to gaza, and i can show you that situation there where erin burnett is in southern israel, and this is the border here, gaza here, and egypt here, and she is not far from gaza here, and egypt here, and in this region here, and erin, what are you seeing now . All right. So we are just, just over a ridge from a major staging area from the israeli Tank Battalion, john. This particular Tank Battalion were in saturday among the first to go in saturday afternoon, and now staging and resupplying and they say they are ready. That is what we have seen, because we have been spending the time going up and down along this gaza border. Right now, we are about three miles away from gaza border, itself, and as you and kate have been saying we are 10 miles from the egyptian border, and right here on the south, where there is massive staging of the israeli force, and when you are hearing that going by, those are all military vehicles. I will say, also though, they are bussing in the troops on buses, and literally coaches. So if you saying 50 or those in the last bit, 50 or so troops coming in, and it is a constant flow in, and if we are going to be thinking that they have 300 or 350,000 troops already at this border where we are, they have been adding in constantly throughout the day, and a higher state of readiness not only with the tan back tall yon but with the troops coming in and wearing helmets and the protective readiness, and we cant tell you about any imminent reaction, but we can tell you that and the shift in the last few day, and we can hear the outgoing Artillery Fire, and in this case in gaza similar to what of course ben was showing you live of that artillery coming into Southern Lebanon. And erin, i want to give people a sense of the distances that we are talking about, and in red, the outline of the space that gaza would be. That is gaza, and this is super imposed here on new york city, so people can see how small of a face we are talking about. This is is the entire island of manhattan, and gaza is twice the length of manhattan, and that is it. So when we are putting gaza up here on the map, and i will do it again, the distance of endtoend here is eight miles. This is 25 miles, and the entire length where you are operating is only 38 mile, 36 to 38 miles, and so these are not big distances, and they are putting a lot of fire power in a small space there. That is an important point, and when i say toptobottom, that is how we do it, because the space is so small, but in the context, john, they said overnight, 350,000 troops amassed, and you are talking about a couple dozen miles, and that is how many troops are there, and that is more than double the troops that putin put on the Ukrainian Border ahead of the invasion. So, we are talking about battle hardened troops and we have seen Special Forces coming in and out, and also reservist, and different level of preparation. Some of the reservists may have, you know, they do the training for a few weeks a year, and not at the same level of the battle readiness of some of the forward troop, and a rel difference, but they are amassing on the border and as the strikes are continuing. The Israeli Air Force says more strikes in the past six days than in entire conflict of 2014. So we are seeing the continual ramp up, and the Artillery Fire that we have heard. And then what is on top of where we were, and hamas is using outgoing firepower as well. Erin burnett really going back and forth along the gazaisrael border, and you can see how tight the spaces are there, and it is important perspective and keep us posted to what more you are seeing there. Kate . All right. Pictures from moments ago, and minutes from now after he is continuing his meetings with the leaders throughout the middle east, and in qatar right now. Stay with us, and we will be right back. Youre probably not easily persuaded to switch mobile providers for your business. Oh, and all on the most reliable 5g Mobile Network nationwide. Wireless that works for you. Its not just possible. Its happening. All right. Shortly, we are expecting to hear from the Secretary Of StateAntony Blinken who is meeting with the Prime Minister of qatar right now, and you are looking at the pictures there of Blinken In Doha Meeting with the qatari leaders, and he is pushing them to get involved and to pressure hamas. We have heard people say that actually some of the leaders, the political leaders live in doha, and live in qatar, and they have influence over hamas, and the u. S. Wants help in releasing and trying to get released some of the 100plus hostages there, and you can see them sitting down for the meeting. This is a Whirlwind Trip for the Secretary Of State. And well, we will take a quick break there, and we will go back to erin burnett who ising the troop movement. Back to you, erin. I wanted to tell you what we saw, and the israeli tank there, and another one is coming, and these guys are restaging, and we have seen on the border checkpoint, a higher state of readiness than we have seen in the past couple of days. I want to move back just a little bit, okay. All right. That gives you a sense of the terrain here, and watching the state of the readiness that you can see here, and we are also going to bring you the ten miles of the egyptian border, and the gaza border, and the mix of the full troops like you can see in the tan back ta the tank bat and i spoke to one of the idf members who had been charged with collecting bodies from the kibbutz from just a few miles from where we are oh, erins shot went down, and to give you a sense of where she is, that is gaza and israel and egypt, and this is the border of gaza and israel and she is down here watching the israeli troops moving up and down the 36mile border of israel and gaza, and she has been up and down the border, and she has been seeing much greater activity, and the israeli troops are positioning for what could be the ultimate Ground Offensive into gaza. We will speak to erin when she gets the shot back up. And now, we are going back to qatar where the Secretary Of State is. He met with the king of jordan and the palestinian president in qatar, and he is going to bahrain later, and then ultimately winding up in saudi arabia, and a whirlwind day of diplomacy, and we will go to Alex Marquardt here to get a sense of what the secretary is wanting to accomplish with the diplomacy today, alex. Well, john, we found out about bahrain. And this is really speaking to how fluid this situation s and how critical it is, because the Secretary Of State keeps adding stops, and you know well, when they add the trip, it is long in advance and very well where he is going to be on a certain day, but it is not the case when it came to the trip, and we learned only earlier in the week that he was coming to jordan and so he is in qatar now, and we are expecting to hear from him and the Qatari Foreign minister. And the focus with qatar, and each of the countries has a different focus in terms of what they can bring to the table to help america achieve the objectives, and the qataris as you have noted, they have been hosting senior leads of hamas for year, and they are a direct conduit when it comes to the hostages, because we have learned that the qataris reached out about the hostages, and we dont know how successful the outreach has been, and the u. S. Is in a precarious situation here where they are trying to and are very vocally expressing the support for israel, and what they are about to do in term of the retaliation against hamas, but at the same time expressing a significant level of concern about what is going to happen next, and specifically what is going to happen to the palestinians who are in gaza, and where they can go and if there are safe areas to be set up for those palestinians to go, and remember, we have heard the Evacuation Orders from the israelis today, and for everyone in gaza to flow to southern garz and it is something that is a tall order, and they are horrendous, and whether a totalitarian corridor can be set up, and exactly where erin is on that map that you pull pd up. Yes, the Rafah Crossing is the only way out south for the people of gaza, but it is closed. It is closed. Of course, if the secretary is going to egypt, and perhaps he is working to get at least aid in if not the people out, and a Whirlwind Trip and everywhere he going from qatar, to bahrain, to egypt, to saudi arabia, to jordan, and maybe Something Different from each location that he is after. Now, over to you, kate. Joining me is michael orem, the former ambassador to the United States, and thank you for joining us. Hi, kate. Talk to us about the moves that we are seeing especially blinken in qatar here, and how big of a role do you think that qatar can and should play especially talking about the hostages . Yeah, good to be with you, kate. I am listening to cnn and hearing the accounts made by people escaped hamas terror, and those who have lost loved ones from the hamas barbarian and go over to strategical thinking. And how is that. Qatar tries to play both. When i was in washington, i had a nice relationship with my qatari counterpart, but they were also supporting terror around the world, around certainly hamas terror, and at odds with some of the future friends in the gulf region, the saudis and the emraw tis, and so you have to be very careful in dealing with them, and in the 2014 Secretary Of State john kerry tried to bring the qataris into the discussion, and they were part of the problem and not part of the solution, but i dont know specifically what Secretary Blinken is doing there in qatari, but i expect it has to do with the releasing of the american hostages, because qatar can bring the influence to bear on the hamas leaders to securing the release. I do not believe that israel is interested in having Qatar Simulate that. Here we have seen that qatari is infusing the hamas with cash. This is murky, because we have gone through five rounds of fighting with hamas, and each one, they end the same way.
