Media and politics these days and leads to real world violence and murder. Ill talk about it an author. Good evening. Im mehdi hassan. Since this show launched in october ive been warning about the crisis of democracy that has been engulfing this nation. And im sorry to have to report this to you. But the past week has brought even more confirmation that the crisis continues to get worse. In texas despite the slight reprieve republicans remain determined to pass a bill that would enact new and horrific restricts on voting. Governor greg abbot says the bill will be back in november. Its one of nine bills to restrict voting now in the lone star state. Texas republicans were fully prepared to sign the measure into law at the end of may had House Democrats not successfully staged an 11th hour walkout to block the measure. Republicans are being shamed to make the bill better. A provision to take away early voting on sunday to hinder church goers, absolutely not. One of the bills architects he says it must be a typo. If so its an awfully long and very specific typo. What about another provision that would make it easy for judges to overturn elections without any proof . Why . That would be a horrendous policy says the same texas gop lawmaker. Amazing. Both of these things this lawmaker claims to be against he helped put in the legislation. Actually fight back against republican and to have a spine because this week we saw Senate Democrats joe manchin and Kyrsten Sinema continue to hold the partys agenda to hostage. Manchin was completely unmoved after a meeting with black civil rights leaders after his opposition to the Voting Rights bill known as the for the people act. But enjoy this offering of his meaningless word salad. Ive got to go take care of this meeting. Did it change your mind . What we had was great, respectful, it was very good conversation we had. And its the starting of a good relationship, it really was. Dont worry, though, because House Speaker nancy pelosi is convinced that manchin a man who keeps saying he will never change his mind on this issue might still change his mind. She says it. He wrote i believe that partisan voting legislation will destroy the already weakening binds of our democracy and for that reason i will vote against the for the people act which is hr1. When democrats literally dont have one vote to spare and you read that from joe manchin, how are you going to get it passed in. I dont give up an joe manchin. I think he left the door open. I think its a jar. Im not giving up. Its not just nancy pelosi. Senator Diane Feinstein declared this week she also backs joe manchin on keeping the filibuster and said ridiculously, quote, if democracy were in jeopardyi would want to protect it but i dont see it being in jeopardy right now. They couldnt do it if some of these democrats werent shamefully in denial about it, shrugging their shoulders over it. This was also the week we discovered trumps Department Of Justice seized the data of at least two democratic members of congress in 2017 and 2018. And Slate Magazine pointed out, this would be a remarkable set of circumstances under any administration, but as usual that it happened during the Trump Administration would make it even worse. Appear to have occurred at the same time that the Justice Department was fighting a congressional subpoena for trumps personal financial records to say nothing of the administrations Stone Walling during the houses first impeachment and the department openly flouting congressional oversight throughout trumps term. Rarely do we get such a stark example of the asymmetry of power between the two branches. On friday Attorney General Merrick Garland unveiled a plan to protect Voting Rights. Good. But bidens Attorney General has also sparked anger with his unwillingness to break with a lot of trump doj policies and practices. For example, defending the former president in a Defamation Case brought by women accusing him of rape. Accusations the former president denies, but the doj is defending himself. So the Question Stands are democrats in congress up to this fight . Is Merrick Garland at the doj prepared to do everything it takes but also hold the attackers including the former president to account . Ultimately history will judge if the Democratic Party rolled over when it mattered most. One democrat who isnt sitting idly by is beto orourke. Hes touring 22 cities across texas to rally for Voting Rights ahead of a Special Session planned by gop governor greg abbot. I spoke with him earlier when he was on the road. Beto orourke, thank you so much for joining me on the show. I know its humid and hot in houston so i appreciate you taking time out. The Texas Democrat strategy of walking out of the State Legislator and denying a quorum to get their voting suppression bill through, that was only a temporary reprieve. Isnt it inevitable theyll get it through at some point and itll be devastating to free and fair texas elections. Their courage in the political minority against overwhelming odds and everyones complete certainty the Voter Suppression bill in texas was going to pass, their willingness to walk out at the 11th hour and stop that bill from becoming law has purchased us some time. Now its incumbent upon all of us not just here in texas but across the country to make the most of it. And the person who can do the most at this time is President Biden. The most powerful man on the planet who we want to help use that capital he has and help the senate to pass the for the people act which will stop Voter Suppression in texas, georgia, across the country and open up elections to eligible voters and make sure all of us can participate in our democracy. So lets talk about some of that politics you allude to. Nancy pelosi, House Speaker said this morning shes confident joe manchin will come around on the for the people act even though i see no signs of him shifting it all. Democrats can basically organize their way through higher turnout which is nonsense. Arent you worried, beto, that the leadership of your party in d. C. Isnt taking this ongoing attack on our democracy seriously our urgently enough . You may be doing a 22 city tour of texas to push Voting Rights, but they seem to be too complacent in d. C. Worrying is not going to get us anywhere. If dr. King and john lewis had just sat there and worried in 1964 or 1965 we never would have had the Voting Rights act signed into law by President Johnson who was frankly compelled to do so by their struggle and their sacrifice. We need something along those lines in 2021. Next sunday in june were rallying at the Texas Capitol in austin to make sure our representatives in washington, d. C. And the president of the United States hear us loud and clear. Understood. At the center of Voting Rights in this country. Are they being urgent enough . Do you believe democrats in d. C. Are taking this urgently enough . Absolutely not. But i cant just worry about that or complain about them. Ive got to do my part to push them. Thats why were traveling the state of texas red counties and blue, urban and rural bringing people out. We want to give President Biden the power to do the right thing. This could not be more critical because if we fail if we fail this summer we may not get democracy back. Because youre right, mehdi, these Voter Suppression bills will roll forward in Special Session in texas and in what Abraham Lincoln called the last best effort of earth will perish on the planet. Weve got to do all we can where we are. Many of our viewers i would assume think its serious. Do you think joe manchin and Kyrsten Sinema and Diane Feinstein who said this week, she doesnt see democracy, quote, of being in danger right now. Are they guilty of not just blocking Voting Rights like in texas but disregarding them . This is the toughest state in which to register to vote and in which to participate in an election. And its not tough for everyone equally. Its disproportionate borne by black voters, voters of color, those with disabilities, the very young, very old and those who live in big cities. You cannot have a democracy in which everyone who is eligible cannot participate in it. I believe in those three senators you mentioned. And im confident once theyve exhausted every effort to bring in bipartisan cooperation theyll put this country before party, before their political career and before themselves and theyll do the right thing because the alternative is unthinkable. But all of us have the opportunity to help them reach that conclusion. So lets push them as hard as we can. Yes. In terms of the pushing i do wonder do you regret in hindsight not running against texas republican john cornyn for the Senate Last Year . Because if you had and won you wouldnt have to be criticizing manchin or sinema from the side lines. Youd be the 51st vote in the senate. Theres nothing i can do unt the past. Ive got to do what i can where i am. And what that means for me is fighting for our democracy and Voting Rights right here in texas. Ive giving it all ive got as i know millions of My Fellow Americans are at this same moment as well. This fight is the one that will define us and this country, this generation and everyone that follows. We cannot be found wanting. So lets get after it. Agree. And fair enough you cant review the past. Lets talk future. 30 seconds left, will you be running for the governor of texas as a lot of reports suggest against abbot next year . Im going to see this fight through the to finish, and after that im going to see how i can serve texas either as a candidate or a supporting candidate. One way or another im supporting texas. Beto orourke, thank you for your time tonight. Appreciate it. Thanks, mehdi. Coming up, its a Historic Campaign and picking up what some are calling maya momentum. Ill talk to her about her chances of becoming the first black female mayor of New York City. And its official. Benjamin netanyahu is no longer Prime Minister of israel, but will his replacement be any better . Ill dive into it ahead. Y better ill dive into it ahead. The air, so you smell them later. Ew right . Thats why febreze created small spaces. Press firmly and watch it get to work. Unlike the leading cone, small spaces continuously eliminates odors in the air and on surfaces. So they dont come back for 45 days. Just imagine what it can do with other odors. Wondering what actually goes into your multivitamin . [ ] looking to repair dry, damaged hair without weighing it down . Try pantene daily moisture renewal conditioner. Its colorsafe formula uses smart conditioners to microtarget damage helping to repair hair without weighing it down. Try pantene. Early voting is officially under way in New York Citys mayor primary. Just weeks ago civil rights attorney and former Bill De Blasio counsel maya wiley was trailing in the polls. Now with aoc and senator Elizabeth Warren wiley has surged into second place. What some are calling mayamentum. Lets put this race into perspective. New york city has a population higher than 40 states and the Biggest Police department in america and gdp is 1. 5 trillion, the largest economy of any metro area in the country. So it matters who governs the big apple. Maya wiley joins me now. We reached out to other candidates and welcome them on this network anytime. What is the reason behind this momentum . Do you credit it to endorsements like from people like aoc . Look, we have mayamentum because im the progressive that can win this race. Endorsements have been extremely important proof points in that very coin. Yes, everyone from 1199, the most powerful local union in the country, Progressive Union of our Essential Workers from nurses to Home Health Aides endorsed me in february. Were so excited to have the entire brooklyn delegation to congress including congressman hakeem jeffries, congresswoman yvette clark. And, yes, congresswoman aoc. Thats all we have to call her. And jamal bowman. The proof point is the Progressive Change that my campaign is putting forward as the choice in this critical election. Okay. Given what youre saying there, recent polls show that voters who are supporting the most progressive candidates in the race represent the largest voting bloc in the city. If those voters dont consolidate around one candidate, the race could be split, left in the air, ranked Choice Voting with just days to go until election day. Why should progressives choose you . Whats the most progressive policy that youre pitching that no one else in the race is . Frankly, our whole platform is the most progressive set of policies on any issue. Take, for example, the fact that im going to shift 1 billion from New York City Police Department because it is poorly managed. It is not focusing our resources by keeping us safe from crime and Police Violence. As a black woman and civil rights lawyer i know its a false choice to say we have to have one or the other. We need to support Mental Health crisis response. Show this country how its done. Show this city how we can be safe from both those problems. Look, housing, we have a crisis of affordability in this city before covid. Now we have 400,000 more new yorkers facing eviction. Im the candidate that has a rent subsidy plan in addition to building more permanently Affordable Housing with our Capitol Construction budget that ill double, but im going to subsidize the rent for families earning 54,000 or less so theyre not paying more than 30 of their income on rent. You mentioned Police Violence in your answer. Thursday during a debate you were asked if you would consider taking guns away from the nypd. Have a listen. So will you take the guns away from the nypd . Im not prepared to make that decision in a debate. I am going to have a civilian commissioner and a civilian commission that will hold the Police Accountable and make sure were safe from crime but also Police Violence. Maya, your spokesperson said the question was ridiculous and clearly you would not take guns away from officers. But on stage that didnt seem clear. Can you clarify where you stand on disarming Police Officers . Absolutely. I am not, nor have i ever said in this race that i would. And, frankly, part of why it was so far out of left field is that its simply not a conversation that any candidate, any progressive candidate has even raised. I wanted to focus my one minute on the actual conversation, which is how we grow public safety. Keep people safe by doing things like addressing the Mental Health crisis we have in this country. Ill give you one specific exampleal right now, which is justin wallace, a 10yearold boy shot and killed on the rockaways. One of the most effective ways weve had of preventing a gun from being shot in the first place was Community Violence interruption. Saying what they need are social workers and Trauma Informed Care and Mental Health response to keep communities safer. Thats what we need to be talking about in this race, and thats what im going to do as mayor. Were almost out of time. Elections are all about changeman on the one hand you do represent change. You would be New York Citys first female black mayor. On the other hand, you used to work for Bill De Blasio. Why should new yorkers not see you as an extension of the de Blasio Mayorty . First of all i dont think weve ever had a child of civil rights activists that grew up with pickets than picnics. Not only did we have 109 men, we only had one black man as counsel to mayor of New York City, never a black woman. Im proud of what we accomplished with universal prek. Public housing, the largest in north america, free broadband, and i am the counsel that made sure we sued verizon. The only time this city has sued a Telecommunication Firm for not delivering service to all our people. And that is change making in government and ive also spent a Career Doing Change on government. So i am excited about being the progressive candidate going to win this race because it is fundamental change that ensures this city can be one where we can all live, hold onto our diversity and where its just a great place to raise a Family No Matter who you are and thats what im running on. Well, the election is coming up very fast. We appreciate you taking time out of your busy campaign. Maya wiley, thank you so much. Coming up, our nation has done some pretty awful things abroad, and we cant just sweep them under the rug. Were warming up the Timerch My 60 Second Rant is next. But first richard lui is here with the headlines. An update on Christian Erikson first who suffered Cardiac Arrest during a match saturday. The team doctor described erikson as gone on the field, also saying he was resuscitated with just one use of a defibrillator. Hes now in stable condition. Tough news if you were saving up to join jeff bazos on a rocket trip into space this summer. An anonymous bidder placed a winning bid of 28 million. The flight will travel to the edge of space and depart in july. And church goers had a surprise sunday morning. President biden, first lady dr. Jill biden dropped in for Sunday Services at a Southwest England catholic church. Attendees said the Bidens Quiltly walked in and prayed and quietly wished peace bewith you. Its time now for what im calling the 60 second rant. Republican ands some democrats lined up to lam ilhan omar this week. She pointed out the Criminal Court is right to investigate Criminal War Crime said by those countries. Im sorry to break this to you our nation has done some pretty awful things abroad and we have to be able to talk about them. Take the korean war in which the u. S. Force is accused of deliberately firing on hundreds of civilians and kids not count as a war crime . What about iraq, didnt we all see with our own eyes images of tortured this isnt about saying the United States is as bad as the taliban. Of course it isnt. Its about saying war crimes should be condemned and prosecuted regardless who commits them. Its bad enough we have conservatives today who dont want the crimes committed against black and nativeamericans in our schools that is outrageous and that is unforgivable. Coming up, mike pompeo says no one was tougher on russia than trump. Are you kidding me . Well talk about what a tough start from russia actually looks like next. Ugh start from russia actually looks like next. Ahhh, enjoy 30 days of openroad freshness. Febreze car. Did you know prilosec otc can stop frequent heartburn before it begins . Heartburn happens when Stomach Acid Refluxes into the esophagus. Prilosec otc uses a unique delayedrelease formula that helps it pass through the tough stomach acid. It then works to turn down acid production, blocking heartburn at the source. With just one pill a day, you get 24hour heartburn protection. Prilosec otc. One pill a day, 24 hours, zero heartburn. There was no administration that was tougher on russia. We worked diligently to support ukraine with defensive weapons system. We built out the United States military. Chris, we left nato 400 billion stronger than we took over. We built out that relationship between the United States and nato in a way that really put pressure on vladimir putin. Tough on putin . The Trump Administration tough on putin . Youve got to be kidding me. The love fest between the donald and vladimir is well documented, donald calling him very nice and great guy, same ruthless russian leader has interfered in elections abroad while cracking down on his own political opponents at home. As biden prepares for his facetoface with the russian president on wednesday, putin tells nbc news relations between the two countries are at their worst point ever while heaping praise on trump. Having today enjoyed pleasantries with the queen of england, windsor castle. Theres likely to be fewer scones and more squabbles in the week ahead. What can the u. S. President do to pressure the russian president and, and what other International Challenges he and the rest of us face . Joining me now is former spokesperson for the National Security council under president obama and now host of pod Save The World tommy vita. Putin has said things are diabolically bad between russia and the u. S. Biden said, yeah, we dont really like you either. In recent months biden has called putin a killer, the Colonial Pipeline hack, ongoing provocations with ukraine. What do you think is going to come out of this meeting . Is there any point to it . First of all the Cuban Missile Crisis is probably a little worse than things are today, and i dont care what failed Secretary Of State mike pompeo says about anything. I think the first piece of this meeting is invest some time into the bidenputin relationship, into the u. S. Russian relationship and see if they can stabilize things and make sure it doesnt get worse. The u. S. Doesnt have an ambassador or the russians dont have an ambassador. I dont think biden is harboring any illusion hes going to look into putins eyes and see his soul like george w. Bush. In the russians defense u. S. Policy has been all over the place the last few years and its good to have facetoface conversations, Iron Out Confusions or ambiguity. Im sure biden is going to push him on cyber attacks, alexei navalny. The last president to meet with putin was trump in 2018 in helsinki. So we need to catch up. Yeah, the bar is so low with anything involving trump. A ruling that they are extremist organizations, that kind of thing doesnt happen really without the putin administrations blessing. The message to biden seems pretty clear. Does the United States have any leverage, tommy, when it comes to trying to pressure putin . Its not like theres some sort of Military Solution on the table here. Nobody wants a war. I dont know about leverage. I do think we have an obligation to stand up for universal values and Rights And Democracy itself. I realize were imperfect messengers abroad and even at home right now. Our allies are thrilled trump is gone, but i think polling shows the average person in the world is worried about the health oaf our democracy. I dont think our goal is to lecture other countries but demonstrate to the world we have a better system that will deliver Better Outcomes and thats going to take time and effort. Its not going to be one meeting. But youre right. Consistency matters and we need to demonstrate that not just with the russians but yaubd. So, yeah, and you mentioned some polling before biden left on his trip. Pew Research Released a survey which showed globally 75 of the world has confidence in biden compared to 17 for trump last year. Biden received a very warm reception at the g7 largely adjust hes not donald trump. But is not being donald enough given the scale of the International Challenges america has been failing on fighting Climate Change and supporting dictators. I had joe bidens National Security advisor on this show earlier this week, and where asked him that question about how can you tell russia to get democratic when were backing people like saudi arabia and egypt . And he said behind the scenes we tell them as well to be democratic. You worked in government, tommy. You and i both know the American Government does not give a consistent message on democracy. It depends on whether youre a friend or foe. I think thats right. I think we need to be more consistent when 2 comes to the saudis. I think we need to push imperfect partners. Biden has more leverage and running room and Political Capital to push our allies to do more. One place is on Climate Change. The g7 ended with leaders united on this goal of getting to net zero Carbon Emissions by 2050, but the g7 countries only account for 20 , 25 of emissions. So he needs to push them to do more especially when it comes to speeding the transition away from coal and then use that progress to put leverage on the chinese and india and also get developed countries to pay for some of the transitions in these developing countries. Again, the biggest thing we need to do is push to the u. S. Congress to pass an Infrastructure Bill that will help make those investments into Renewable Energies that will get us under way. Unless we get our own house in order then we lose a lot of leverage to push others. Get your own house in order, well said. Earlier today a new Israeli Government survived a vote of confidence by one vote. Benjamin netanyahu is out after 12 years in office, 12 continuous years. Biden congratulated bennett by saying israel has no better friend than the United States. How much damage does a very partisan netanyahu did to u. S. Relations in recent years especially under democratic president s . He did enormous damage. I think we should all pause for a second and thank God Netanyahu is gone. Hes a corrupt, racist, selfish leader who put his political fortunes ahead of the u. S. Israeli relationship, ahead of Making Life Betr for the average israeli. They went through four elections in the last couple of years because netanyahu couldnt form a coalition. Now Nephtally Bennett is the Prime Minister. Is he my dream Prime Minister . No, his views on are not good. I noticed his idiot son actually tweeted out your interview with the nephtalis advisor is an interesting choice. Its still a fragile coalition. I do think getting past the netanyahu era is enormous. And you saw why yesterday i believe when netanyahu decided to just burn it down on the way out the door and bragged about all the ways he stuck it to the United States over the last few years. I dont know thats the friend and ally we need in israel. We need new leadership. We do need new leadership. Actually benjamin himself tweeted out that clip to try and point out to people that is that going to be a problem . I feel like you could say the same about neftali bennett. Yeah, you could. That is going to be a motley, unruly coalition and i have no idea how its going to hold together. Look at the Democratic Party. Antitrump sentiment got us a long way, but you have to get things down on your own, Work Together and points of agreement. I just think there may be discorded messages coming out of the government. Frankly, its more likely given the way their system works as compared to ours. Theyre not all Nephtali Bennett staffers. I think youre seeing democrats who are really hopeful about the future of the u. S. Israeli relationship because it can get back to a less adversarial bipartisan one. I just hope as it gets back to that palestinians dont get thrown under the bus, and im sure you hope that, too. Thank you for joining us tonight. Appreciate your time and analysis. Father and mother, their daughter and grandmother were all killed when the driver of a pickup truck mowed them down at an intersection while they were out for an evening walk in london. Only the 9yearold son survived and that poor kid is hospitalized with serious injuries. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau rightly called the murders an act of terrorism. And yet another Tragic Reminder Islamaphobia is a murderous ideology, not just a bunch of offensive and bigoted words, not just a cynical political device used by republicans to rile up their base. It leads to violence. And these days thanks partly to a certain former president and reality tv star, its mainstream. In fact its one of the last acceptable forms of politics and bigotry in our media. Look around its everywhere. Congresswomen ilhan omar getting piled on by her own democratic colleagues for, quote, giving cover to Terrorist Groups which im sorry is a classic islamaphobic trope. Allah simply means god in arabic. When is this going to end . Im so tired of having to point this out. Islamaphobia matters. Islamaphobia kills. Hate speech is a real thing with real world consequences. And the human cost of that rhetoric, as a writer puts it bluntly in a new piece for the daily beast, more murdered muslims. Ali describes what happened to the afzaal family, the same story with a different cast. And hes no stranger to this issue. Has been been sounding alarm bells on islamaphobia for a decade. He wrote a Landmark Investigative Report called fearing, identifying and categorizing the network of well funded Players Behind the quoteunquote islamaphobia industry. The forthcoming book Go Back To Where you came from and other helpful recommendations on how to become american joins me now. Your groundbreaking report was released a decade ago. Would you say islamaphobia in that period has gotten better or worse . Its been mainstreamed. Its been weaponized. Its been manufactured by the right wing and has been globalized and inspired right Wing Movements from here to europe and inspired right wing extremists, terrorists, because the hate is not cross stream. Talk to a 9yearold who lost his family, his family in london, canada had the crime of simply being muslim. They were at a intersection, crossing the street. And a 20yearold man decided to plow into them with his pickup truck because he saw them as the enemy. Lets not forget that the president of the United States donald trump, two years ago when it came to the midterms decided to run on only one talking point, mehdi, there was an invasion, a caravan of invaders coming up the border of Middle Easterners and muslims and immigrants. What happened in 2018 during the midterms . Robert bowers went and killed 11 people at a synagogue. He wanted to punish jews for bringing the invaders. What happened a couple months later in new zealand . A terrorist killed 51 muslims in new zealand and he echoed the same Talking Points and said that donald trump is a renewed symbol of white identity and a renewed symbol of white purpose. So why are these extremists who come from this ideological infrastructure so influenced by these Talking Points that now we see openly said by Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson like you just mentioned this week on newsmax. In your daily beast piece words, you ask where will it happen next time . A note this is a question across communities in muslim communities across europe and the u. S. Are asking right now. Can you explain how real this fear is for ordinary Muslim Americans and canadian muslims . You have President Trump who said we, muslims were a problem in need of a solution. And the solution they came up with is the muslim ban until he can figure out what the hell is going on, right . He said i think islam hates us. We see literally Ilhan Omar Being the boogeyman, a trifecta. A black woman being seen as a boogeyman. And shes constantly vilified and attacked. If youre a muslim and watching this you say, wow, theres an entire right Wing Movement and party that sees me as a problem in need of a solution. What is that solution . Antisharia bills, oh, a muslim ban. Oh, look, some Talking Points that influence violent extremists who decide to drive into an innocent family in canada to kill them because by seeing them and seeing a woman in a hijab, they see them as a threat. It terrifies us. And they say its just speech, just words, ideas, we should be able to debate this stuff even though there are very vicious real world consequences. Its easy to say islamaphobia is just a right wing problem. You just mentioned ilhan omar. She got accused by her democratic colleagues this week of giving cover to Terrorist Groups. An outrageous claim to make. What is your message to a liberal audience watching who are thinking this isnt an issue for us. This hate hasnt been cost free. This hate unites bigots regardless of their ethnicity or political allegiance. Bill marr who literally repeats all the islamaphobic Talking Points that youll hear on fox news. Hes been doing it for years. Democrats always go on his show rarely call him out on it, right . Mehdi who was the one person who had gone on his show and called him out, batman, ben affleck. That Extremist Islam Is Main Stream islam. He has a show on hbo, and so far liberals love his show and dont check him. I want liberals like Chuck Schumer who literally praised peter king, one of the leading islamaphobes, a republican, praised him one of leading antimuslim bigots. I wish Chuck Schumer would spend half as much time or even one tweet defending ilhan omar because the rest of us are seeing how they dont defend her, and that means theyre not going to defend us. Just to be clear i think it was sam harris another liberal on that show with batman. Marr said it was Something Like the mafia i think he compared us to. Before we run out of time ive got to ask this question. A lot of people say im criticizing islam, dont call me a racist. Muslims are not a race. What is your response to that classic argument put forward . I dont have time for this mental linguistic gymnastics. Just like people say im not home phobic, im not antisemitic. Antimuslim bigotry, thats what it is. And youre being a hater and your hateful rhetoric and conspiracy theories are having a cost, a negative cost and a deadly cost. And if you dont think it has a deadly cost, tell that 9yearold boy whos severely injured in the hospital, tell him your rhetoric is not costfree.
