JAMMU: Over 30 people have been reported missing after a cloudburst hit a remote village in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district early on Wednesday, officials said. The death toll has risen to 7. A total of 17 persons have been rescued so far.
Around nine houses have been damaged due to the cloudburst at Kishtwar's Honzar village, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar Sharma, said. Rescue teams were rushed to Honzar village of Dacchan tehsil and an SDRF team has also been sent, officials said.
