Sheikh Abdujabar Nasir Kabara has reacted to banning of preaching in his mosque by the Kano State Government, saying the action taken by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has a political undertone.
This was just as he said that he will abide by the government’s ban as he has always been law-abiding.
“I am appealing to my followers to exercise patience with this decision and never revolt against it. Injustice will never remain forever. Let us continue to pray and it shall come to pass soon,” he added.
Speaking in Kano over the development, Sheikh Nasir Kabara, the leader of Qaddiryya Islamic sect, while accusing Governor Ganduje of a politically motivated action said, “I was banned as payback by the governor for my ardent refusal to support his re-election back in 2019.
